Aviation SME Technical Trainer

As an Aviation SME Technical Trainer, you will:

Conduct material and operational assessments of aviation equipment aboard US Navy Ships
• Certify ships in the basic phase of training
• Provide training and assessments at the senior technician level (often E8-E9 audience) and ship's wardrooms
• Provide training to ship's company on process improvement recommendations to all levels of the shipboard Chain of Command
• Will be assigned to TMIT Blue

• 20 years of shipboard experience as an AB (Handling) or AB (Fuels)
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Graduate of ABH or ABF A and C Schools
• Requires recent experience conducting technical briefs at all levels of shipboard managers/technicians
• Significant experience with aviation material and operational assessments
