The Virginia Training Development Team is seeking three Contract Training Specialists to support the design, development, revision, and maintenance of training materials. Deliverables may include presentations, participant guides, knowledge assessments, hands-on performance evaluations, computer-based training modules, and other instructional resources. Contract Training Specialists collaborate with training instructors, business unit subject matter experts, and external partners to apply the ADDIE instructional design model throughout the training development process. This role is responsible for ensuring training materials align with defined learning objectives, established development standards, and applicable regulatory and compliance requirements. The position supports training programs across Power Generation, Electric Transmission, Electric Distribution, and Operations & Support, as well as other training initiatives as business needs arise. Note: This is a training development role and does not include instructional delivery or classroom facilitation responsibilities. Required Years of ExperienceMinimum 2 years of directly related experience in classroom and/or web-based training needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance. EducationMinimum High School Diploma Required. Bachelor's Degree in Education or Adult Learning is preferred but not required. Industry ExperienceOperational knowledge and/or practical experience in Power Generation, Electric Transmission, or Electric Distribution is preferred.
