Accounts Payable Specialist II

JOB SUMMARY

An Accounts Payable Clerk at Doble Engineering will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable team with daily transactions. This role will be based in our Marlborough, MA office reporting to the General Accounting Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Match receipts to vendor invoices and prepare for posting in Business Central.
• Verify proper transaction approval prior to voucher.
• Research non-matching receipts and invoices, work with purchasing department to get open transactions resolved and processed.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the AP Team Lead and/or General Accounting Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

High school diploma required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• One to three years of directly related experience - familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to independently plan and organize one's own activities.
• Detailed oriented person with strong communication skills both written and oral.
• Experience with Expense Report Reimbursement is a strong plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of this job. Must be capable of lifting 20 pounds. Must use assistance when lifting 50 or more pounds.

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job related skills, as well as relevant education or training experience.
Salary Pay Range Minimum $55,935.82 - Midpoint $69,919.78
