PURPOSE

Supervises the installation of millwork and window projects on the customer jobsites. Responsible for all aspects of Install activities including planning, coordinating and assigning work in order to meet or exceed installation scheduling goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Monitor and maintain front-end installation quality in the field.
  • Oversee the installation of millwork and windows to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with BFS Project Managers to provide field training and resolve installation-related issues.
  • Ensure all installations comply with applicable building codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
  • Verify that single-family (SF) and multi-family (MF) projects remain on schedule and meet production goals.
  • Conduct field inspections to evaluate installation quality and identify opportunities for improvement.


    • Validate the quality of work performed by new subcontractors through site inspections and review of previous projects before approving future work.


  • Train and mentor installation crews on best practices, quality standards, and company expectations.
  • Enforce company safety policies and promote a culture of safety on all job sites.
  • Conduct regular job site safety inspections and address any identified concerns.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and procure the appropriate tools and equipment for in-house technicians.
  • Support the Service and Warranty Department by helping diagnose and resolve issues related to installation practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of company practices and standards for product installations
  • Knowledge of business mathematics
  • Ability to supervise and achieve work productivity through others
  • Ability to read and write delivery schedules and reports
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an enterprise resource planning (ERP) program
