Johns Hopkins Medicine Cardiology is a full-service cardiology practice specializing in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and conditions like heart failure and high blood pressure.

Johns Hopkins Community Physicians Heart Care in Bethesda is currently searching for a Cardiology Device Technologist to become a member of its elite multidisciplinary Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device team. As a Device Tech, you will:



  • Support technical management of implanted cardiac pacemakers and ICD device
  • Perform basic device interrogation, program adjustment per protocol or order
  • Troubleshoot basic, intermediate, and advance device issues

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Certification from a recognized Cardiac Device Training School (i.e. ATI, IBHRE, Medtronic Academy) OR experience reviewing and managing remote device transmission (ex. Carelink, Latitude and Merlin)
  • Valid CPR card
  • Two (2) years Cardiac Device experience or equivalent years of CIED industry experience
  • Experience with pacemakers, defibrillators or implantable loop monitors, implanted cardiac pacemaker and ICD devices.


Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift

8:00am - 4:30p,

Monday - Friday

Salary Range: Minimum 42.33/hour - Maximum 69.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
