Overview
Are you passionate about defining how software will be built, deployed, governed, and operated in the age of AI and agents? Microsoft 365 Core is building the next generation of platform experiences that enable thousands of engineers across Microsoft to move from intent to trusted production outcomes through agentic systems and agentic workflows. Our vision is a future where onboarding, development, validation, deployment, operations, and continuous improvement are orchestrated through persistent AI-powered crews that act on behalf of developers, service owners, and operators. We are looking for a highly technical Principal Product Manager to define and drive this vision. You will operate at the intersection of product leadership, systems architecture, platform strategy, and organizational transformation. You will partner with engineering leaders, architects, and product leaders across Microsoft to define the platforms, operating models, and experiences that enable trusted agentic workflows at hyperscale. In this role, you will own the strategy and product direction for the next generation of agentic platform experiences. You will shape how developers onboard services, how agents coordinate work, how trusted change is delivered, how operational knowledge compounds across teams, and how platform capabilities are exposed through a coherent agent-first experience. You will influence investments across multiple organizations to create a unified vision for the future of software development and operations. This role requires deep technical credibility, strong product intuition, customer obsession, and the ability to align senior leaders across multiple organizations around a shared strategic and architectural vision. #COSMIC Product Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $165,600 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
