Pay Rate: $25.50 - $30.50 per hour

1st and 2nd shift (7:00- 3:30pm OR 3:30pm- 12:00am)

This role is responsible for performing daily maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The position involves troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, as well as supporting production needs through equipment setup and operation. The Maintenance Technician will also document all work performed and assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and productive work environment.

Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical school, vocational training, apprenticeship experience, or industrial maintenance education is preferred.


Experience Requirements



  • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery or production equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of bearings, belts, chains, gears, motors, pumps, and related components.
  • Ability to read equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Commitment to preventative maintenance, workplace safety, quality workmanship, and dependable attendance.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs
  • Proficiency in welding, as required
  • Basic computer skills


Job Duties


  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Maintain punch presses, roll formers, brake presses, CNC machines, welding cells, and related equipment
  • Install, program, and troubleshoot motor drives
  • Perform industrial wiring, conduit installation, and circuit tracing
  • Set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing equipment as needed
  • Assist production teams with machine setup and operational support
  • Fabricate racks, carts, stands, safety guards, and other shop equipment
  • Complete work orders and accurately document maintenance activities


Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, facilities maintenance, or a related mechanical environment is preferred.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, welding, fabrication, electrical systems, or PLC-controlled equipment is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems, preventative maintenance programs, or root cause analysis is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting ability, mechanical skill, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Mechanic.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and work in varied positions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift tools, replacement parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely operate tools, perform repairs, and handle mechanical components.
  • Ability to work safely around moving machinery, elevated surfaces, confined areas, and industrial equipment while wearing required personal protective equipment.
