Desktop Support Technician (Long-Term Contract) Hybrid Schedule: Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Also need to be in on Monday or Friday. We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join a collaborative IT team on a long-term contract opportunity. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure employees have the technology they need to stay productive. What You'll Do * Deliver exceptional desktop support and break/fix services for end users. * Troubleshoot, track, and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues. * Manage and fulfill service requests, including installations, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC). * Provide Tier 2 support for a variety of end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and other peripherals. * Support Windows-based environments and Microsoft technologies, including Office 365. * Assist with device deployments, upgrades, and equipment refresh initiatives. * Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress and resolutions to users and stakeholders. * Support IT asset management processes, including inventory tracking and lifecycle management. * Collaborate with internal IT teams to improve processes and deliver effective technology solutions. Required Qualifications * 3+ years of experience in desktop support, endpoint support, or technical support roles. * Strong troubleshooting experience across hardware, software, and operating systems. * Experience supporting: * Windows 10/11 environments * Microsoft Office 365 * Active Directory * SCCM / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager * Outlook and other Microsoft productivity tools * Experience with device deployments, hardware support, and end-user support. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Ability to prioritize multiple support requests and work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications * Associate degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Experience within the insurance industry. * Familiarity with IT asset management processes and best practices. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
