As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Management in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to help support the orderly movement of employees, contractors, vendors, and deliveries throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions and report findings to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
