As part of the Energy, Resilience and Sustainability (ERS) Division, you will collaborate with experts to provide comprehensive policy, planning, and implementation services to deliver solutions that address critical infrastructure resilience and security, and data management issues and support the military mission, while reducing environmental impacts. - Build, harden, configure, administer, and maintain Linux and Windows servers supporting electrical-distribution, water/wastewater, ADMS, and SCADA applications.
- Administer enterprise Linux platforms, including Ubuntu, RHEL, Rocky Linux, and CentOS, ensuring secure and reliable operation.
- Provision Linux and Windows systems on physical servers and Nutanix-hosted virtual machines.
- Administer SEL computing platforms hosting operational applications and SCADA services.
- Support Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA environments, including gateways, redundant gateways, databases, historians, alarms, logging, certificates, authentication, and communications.
- Support Rockwell Automation environments: FactoryTalk Services Platform, FactoryTalk View SE, PlantPAx, FactoryTalk Historian, licensing, domain-integrated services, SQL databases, and redundant architectures.
- Configure and maintain storage, filesystems, networking, host-based firewalls, service accounts, certificates, NTP, logging, database connections, dependencies, redundancy, and backup services.
- Conduct advanced Linux troubleshooting, including log analysis, performance tuning, system recovery, and root-cause analysis.
- Use Bash, PowerShell, Python, and SQL to automate provisioning, monitoring, backups, reporting, patching, configuration validation, and system-administration tasks.
- Administer relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Apply DISA STIGs to Windows and Linux systems while evaluating operational impact, vendor support, and SCADA uptime requirements.
- Document STIG findings, exceptions, mitigations, and compensating controls.
- Coordinate with SCADA engineers, electrical/water specialists, application owners, cybersecurity staff, network engineers, and vendors to determine system requirements.
- Test patches, upgrades, and security changes in a testbed environment before production deployment.
- Perform backup testing, restoration validation, disaster recovery checks, and support incident response following failed updates.
- Maintain build guides, configuration baselines, security checklists, dependency diagrams, inventories, recovery procedures, backup documentation, and change records.
- Support safe, reliable operations through strong understanding of high availability, redundancy, safety, and continuous-operation needs for SCADA/industrial systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT related field or at least 3 years of experience administering Linux and Windows servers in FRCS/OT or critical-infrastructure environments.
- Experience supporting SCADA, ADMS, industrial-control, or critical-infrastructure applications.
- Advanced enterprise Linux experience (Ubuntu, RHEL, Rocky, CentOS).
- Experience supporting SEL platforms, Ignition, Rockwell FactoryTalk/PlantPAx, and Nutanix virtualization.
- Experience applying and documenting DISA STIG compliance.
- Experience with automation in Bash, PowerShell, Python, and SQL.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Applicable DoD 8140 baseline certification.

- Experience with USMC IT and OT/FRCS Systems and cybersecurity processes
- CompTIA Linux+
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS)
- Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC)
- Nutanix Certified Professional - Multicloud Infrastructure
- Microsoft Windows Server certification
- Inductive Automation Ignition Core Certification
