Aug 27, 2026

Just like a bridge, our mission in Purchasing is to connect internal and external partners to deliver world class results. We build our bridge together on solid foundational values. Our global Purchasing team sources over $80 billion in products and services annually. We deliver world class results by embracing our values of Belief, Respect, Innovation, Diversity, Growth, and Energy (BRIDGE) as they are the framework for our culture. We believe in a work-life balance and provide team members opportunities for mentoring, learning & development and exposure to senior leadership.

As a Senior Buyer for Sales and Marketing you will be responsible for leading a commodity/commodities within the Sales and Marketing function. This will involve daily interactions with our regional and global Marketing team and colleagues; many of whom are at a VP level, so strong communication skills are necessary in this role.

You will have functional responsibility in a complex and dynamic environment to guide these internal stakeholders and challenge the norm by identifying alternative sources and challenging budgets and scopes of work.

You will manage the entire sourcing process; through analyzing quotations and comparing differing costing models, negotiating rates, and ultimately seek internal approval to award long-term contracts.

Additionally, as Senior Buyer within Sales & Marketing, you will manage all aspects of the supplier relationship, including negotiating complex contracts and ensuring they are adhered to. This will involve close cooperation with the regional lawyers to ensure global contracts encompass all local laws. Furthermore, you will track the achievement of annual cost savings targets and the development of supplier/commodity strategies.

Main Tasks:

  • Development and implementation of Purchasing strategies and concepts
  • Independent management of Purchasing processes to determine suppliers for services regionally and globally
  • Conducting independent price comparisons and cost negotiations

  • Strong communication and negotiating skills
  • Data analytics
  • Management of the sourcing process
  • Managing strategic and complex projects
  • Supplier management
  • Ensuring delivery of the highest quality products
  • Achieving best total cost solutions and products

Candidates must be able to build strong and respected relationships with global purchasing colleagues and the Sales and Marketing community. The ideal candidate would be willing to take full ownership of the commodities to drive issues to closure and ensure the highest quality and best total cost solutions are delivered on time.

Basic Qualifications:
