Overview

TRC is seeking a Distribution Engineer I to join our team in Arlington, Texas. In this entry-level role, you will support engineering and design efforts for a variety of projects by preparing technical documents, assisting with design calculations, and collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients. This position may also include occasional field work, site visits, and data collection activities to support project development and execution.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations
  • Support project teams in the development of plans, reports, and technical documentation
  • Perform basic engineering analysis under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to support project execution
  • Review project information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards
  • Help maintain project schedules, budgets, and deliverable quality
  • Participate in field visits, site assessments, inspections, and data collection as needed
  • Support project implementation activities that may require work in outdoor or active site environments
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with company procedures, client requirements, and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
  • 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles, design practices, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with engineering/design software is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • EIT certification or progress toward licensure is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced consulting environment.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
