We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Manager, IT - Workday to lead the governance, strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of our global Workday platform.

This role leads the governance, delivery, and operational excellence of the organization's Workday platform. The position manages Workday analysts, contractors, administrators, and technical resources supporting Workday HCM, Talent, Recruiting, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Reporting and Analytics, Security, and integrations. The role partners closely with HR, Payroll, and Technology leaders to maximize business value from Workday investments and ensure a stable, scalable, compliant global Workday environment.

What You'll Do
  • Partners with business sponsors on the Workday product strategy, roadmap, governance model, and investment priorities aligned to business objectives and HR, Payroll, and Technology priorities.

  • Provides platform ownership and delivery oversight across Workday HCM, Talent and Performance, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Reporting and Analytics, Security, and Integrations.

  • Manages a Product Team of Workday technical resources. Establishes performance goals, career development plans, succession plans, and a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Manages offshore resources that complement the Vantive product team with support and development. Works closely with the Scrum Master.

  • Serves as the primary IT partner for Workday, balancing competing priorities, managing demand intake, translating business strategy into Workday capabilities, and influencing leaders on product trade-offs and investment decisions.

  • Oversee Workday enhancements, integrations, upgrades, transformations, optimization initiatives, service management practices, using Agile delivery principles to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and with measurable business value.

  • Ensures privacy, data governance, HR, Payroll, role-based security, and system stability requirements are met across the Workday environment.

  • Manages Workday vendor relationships, escalations, contracts, budgets, licensing, business cases, ROI analyses, and support agreements to optimize value from Workday platform investments.

What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of IT, HRIS, enterprise application, or HR technology experience

  • 3+years leading Workday teams or medium to large Workday programs

  • 5+ years of leadership/management experience.

  • Workday expertise across several of the following domains: Workday HCM, Talent and Performance, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Security, Reporting and Analytics, Workday Integrations.

  • Agile product management, portfolio management, vendor management, enterprise architecture awareness, API and integration strategy, change management, service management practices, and role-based access controls.

  • Proven experience leading Workday implementations, upgrades, transformations, enhancements, integrations, and optimization initiatives; partnering with HR and Payroll leaders; managing Workday budgets and contracts; developing business cases and ROI analyses; and working with Workday vendors, service providers, and integration partners.

At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $152,000 - $190,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
