Job Description We are seeking a Fire Alarm / Low Voltage Technician to support installation, service, and renovation projects throughout the Myrtle Beach area. This role is ideal for someone with low-voltage, electrical, or security system experience who enjoys working independently, solving problems in the field, and developing their technical expertise. Technicians will receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced industry professionals on commercial and institutional projects. What You'll Do * Install, troubleshoot, and service fire alarm and low-voltage systems * Pull, terminate, test, and verify low-voltage cabling installations * Perform device swaps, terminations, testing, assessments, and punch list work * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and wiring diagrams * Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and customers to support project completion * Troubleshoot system issues and proactively identify solutions in the field * Maintain quality workmanship and follow all safety standards * Support renovation, upgrade, and new installation projects across a variety of commercial environments What You Bring * Experience with low-voltage systems, security systems, fire alarms, or related electrical work * Ability to read construction drawings and wiring diagrams * Experience using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and termination tools * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Professional customer-facing communication skills * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation * Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the industry Nice to Have * Fire alarm installation or service experience * Experience with CCTV, access control, or security systems * Familiarity with Edwards, Simplex, FireLite, Alarm.com, Vista, or CCURE systems NICET certification * Experience working on school, commercial, or institutional projects Why Apply? * Join a growing team with a strong project pipeline throughout the Myrtle Beach market * Receive training and mentorship from experienced fire alarm professionals * Gain exposure to fire alarm, security, access control, and integrated building systems * Clear opportunities for advancement into Lead Technician and higher-level technical roles * Consistent work supporting schools, commercial facilities, warehouses, and institutional customers * Build a long-term career with a company investing in the development of its local team Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Myrtle Beach, SC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
