Job Overview
The Process Engineering Lead is the technical authority for the Polymer additive manufacturing technologies within the Hubbell Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence. This role is responsible for developing, qualifying, and scaling additive manufacturing processes from technology development through production deployment. The successful candidate will lead process development, optimization, validation, and continuous improvement efforts to establish robust, repeatable, and production-ready manufacturing capabilities. As the primary process owner, they will define operating standards, process controls, and data-driven strategies that ensure consistent quality, productivity, and performance. The role will also manage the related 3D printing operators, providing day-to-day technical leadership and mentorship, to drive operational excellence and adherence to manufacturing best practices. This position requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate development activities into scalable manufacturing solutions. The role works closely with Applications Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Operations to align process decisions with business, quality, cost, and production objectives.
