We should talk...MaineHealth is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to bring their accounting expertise to an organization where the work supports something bigger - the health of our communities.In this role, you'll put your accounting and analytical skills to work maintaining financial accuracy, accountability, and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). You'll monitor and maintain control of general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, detailed reports, financial statements, and analyses that reflect financial status and activities. You'll also help ensure the timely and accurate processing of account reconciliations, billings, disbursement requests, and account analyses. Depending on the needs of the team, you may also have the opportunity to assist with training or supervising staff accounting personnel.If you enjoy digging into the details, solving problems, and making sure the numbers tell the right story, this could be a great next step. Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
