For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Medical Assistants:
*0-1 years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)
*1+ years of experience eligible for $5,000 (full time)

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time MA position.
Bonus amount prorated for Part-time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible;
former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

As a Medical Assistant, you'll work alongside providers and fellow care team members to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to patients of all ages. From rooming patients and assisting with clinical needs to supporting preventive care and chronic disease management, you'll be an important part of keeping the practice running smoothly and helping patients feel cared for every step of the way.

Located in the MaineHealth Livermore Falls Health Center, our practice provides family medicine and primary care services right here in the community.

    Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following requirements: Graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed; or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting; or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis).
    2. License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification required. (Prior to 5/01/25 MA IIs with 10 years MA experience and employed by MaineHealth as a MA in the most recent 5 years are exempt from certification requirement). Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Fully remote care team members are exempt from BLS certification requirement. A NH Med Tech License, or NH EMT and National Registry EMT license is required for those positions located in New Hampshire.
    3. Experience: Six months of experience as a Medical Assistant or one year as a MaineHealth Clinical Team Assistant.

    The pay range for this position is $21.09to $27.12 per hour.

    Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
