Machine Operator

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.
• Basic math skills required for measuring materials, tracking production, and inventory management.

Experience Requirements

• 2+ yeras of previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, production, tube mill operations, or industrial environments.
• Experience operating production machinery and material handling equipment is beneficial.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with equipment maintenance, quality inspections, and production processes preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn machine operation and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take direction from supervisors and operators.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and safe material handling practices.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move raw materials and finished products throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that may include dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to safely work around industrial machinery, moving equipment, and overhead cranes.
• Steel-toe shoes.

Job Duties

• Assist with the setup, operation, and monitoring of tube mill equipment to support efficient production and minimize downtime.
• Prepare, load, and transport raw materials while ensuring correct material quantities and specifications are used.
• Support routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and minor equipment repairs to maintain safe and reliable operations.
• Perform quality inspections of finished products, identify defects or production issues, and report concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and inventory records while ensuring materials and supplies are properly organized.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
