Janitorial Servicer B, Easton, PA. 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for operating a forklift in material handling various processing bailed recycling materials, outbound loading of recycled materials and various hazardous materials. Responsible for waste removal, recycling, safety inspections for Crayola's Forks Township Manufacturing Location.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Continuous sanitizing and disinfecting of all Crayola facilities; including high touch points, cafe tables/chairs, restrooms (showers, sinks/faucets, toilets, urinals, counters, mirrors, partitions and vents).
  • Performs all material handling duties and responsibilities associated with Crayola's Janitorial and Recycling Program.
  • Responsible for tracking of and accurate documentation of all refuse, recycling and hazardous materials to comply with Crayola's land fill free program and all associated regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for maintaining an Accident-Free Environmental while using Powered Industrial Trucks (i.e. - forklifts) for transporting materials throughout the plants, loading trailers of outgoing compacted recycled materials and hazardous waste materials.
  • Responsible for safely operating a forklift, picking up full gaylords from manufacturing areas and loading trailers.
  • Performs company vehicle general safety inspections, ladder safety inspections, and eye wash station inspections;
  • Responsible for maintaining safe walkways and paths during inclement weather.
  • Complies with federal and state Hazardous Waste regulations including proper handling, storing, labeling, and familiarity with Crayola's Emergency Action Procedure in the event of a spill or leak.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition in accordance with 5S/5M Principles and Crayola's Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provides training of Crayola employees on the recycling and landfill free programs as needed and participates in team problem solving events to maintain and continuously improve our environmental sustainability efforts.
  • In accordance with Crayola's Desired Culture, must actively participate in Team Development and Continuous Improvement initiatives by attending meetings, communicating information, and providing input.
  • Must learn various jobs and duties and participate in team problem solving to strive for continuous improvement. Must work in a team environment and take day to day direction from Janitorial and Recycling Manager.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment
  • Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job (listed below)
  • Ability to successful complete Crayola's Forklift Training Program.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and complete assignments with minimal supervision
  • Must successfully complete Company Blood Born Pathogen training
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
