Associate Director of Admissions (Undergraduate Admissions)

Reporting to the Director of Recruitment, we are seeking an Associate Director of Admissionswho will be responsible for managing a strategic and comprehensive virtual recruitment and international engagement strategy to support our enrollment priorities.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management across our robust virtual programming (more than 100 events per year).
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team on development of our virtual resource suite (videos, virtual tour, Blue Jay Connection, etc).
  • Oversee data analysis to understand the efficacy of our virtual engagement.
  • Lead staff- wide training on virtual platforms.
  • Establish best practices for virtual engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Recruitment to develop and implement international recruitment strategies aligned with institutional priorities.
  • Identify and evaluate international organizational partnerships.
  • Serve as office expert on international market trends.
  • Support staff in developing regional recruitment plans.
  • Collaborate with campus partners on various presentations, training, and prospective student support.
  • Contribute to budget planning and resource allocation for international recruitment activities.
  • Will be the direct manager for a team of admissions staff members"providing supervision, mentorship, and professional development.
  • Serve as a chair in the Admissions committee process"serving as the key decision maker for various academic areas and scholars' programs.
  • Deliver presentations and represent the school/division to internal and external organizations.
  • Collaborate in the development, production, and enhancement of all marketing materials with Marketing Communications, including the admissions marketing brochures, flyers, and application materials, and the preparation of digital assets.
  • Travel locally, nationally, and internationally (as required) for recruitment fairs, conferences, and organizations.
  • Provide leadership in developing a calendar-based strategy for recruitment and outreach.
  • Organize regular general professional development activities for the Admissions Office.
  • Travel and night/weekend work may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five years of related experience.
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
  • Travel and occasional weekend and evening hours, including the ability to travel to events with occasional overnight stays, are required.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Technical qualifications or specialized certifications.

Starting Salary Range: $66,215 - $116,130 Annually (($91K - $111K targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)

Schedule: M-F 9am-5pm, some nights and weekends required
