Position Summary

Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing analytical, reporting, planning, and project support to the PMD Division. As a business partner, the Financial Analyst collaborates closely with colleagues to provide analysis and recommendations and works with PMD Finance on compliance activities.

This position is located in Erie, supporting PMD globally, including the US and will report to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Performs month-end closing and cost accounting activities as required following Company policy (including JV's and reconciliations).
  • Assist plant in cycle counts.
  • Develop and publish financial reports and dashboards for the leadership team providing commentary when needed
  • Support planning processes including coordination of activities, validation, and analysis. (ex. Cost center planning)
  • Responsible for rebates and commissions including all accounting entries, tracking and ensuring timely payouts.
  • Participate in projects and kaizens as directed.
  • Coordinate compliance reviews for system access (SAP, Ariba, etc.), credit memos, procurement and travel cards, etc.
  • Ability to travel between Erie and Saegertown on a regular basis
  • Abilit to travel outside of the area <10%


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 0-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Independent and self-motivated

  • Ability to work and actively collaborate in a team-based environment

  • Ability to manage a variety of responsibilities and prioritize accordingly

  • Ability to lead and facilitate continuous improvement

  • Proficient user of Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products

  • SAP experience is preferred
