Nurse manager, Operations - Duke University Hospital

Duke University Health System- Duke University Hospital seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together.

Department Profile:

Our 23bed Antenatal & HighRisk Postpartum Unit cares for pregnant and postpartum patients requiring close monitoring due to medical, obstetric, or fetal complications. We support a diverse patient population with conditions such as preeclampsia, placenta previa, preterm labor, multifetal gestations, surgical/postcesarean recovery, and medically complex postpartum needs. Our team promotes compassionate, familycentered care while delivering highacuity clinical services. The Antenatal & HighRisk Postpartum RN provides skilled, evidencebased nursing care to pregnant and postpartum patients experiencing highrisk conditions. This role includes continuous assessment, medication management (including highalert medications), patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal maternal and fetal outcomes.

Work Hours & Shifts: Full Time: 40 hours a week


Minimum Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. Master's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.



Experience

Three years of nursing experience is required.



Degrees, Licensures, Certifications

Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. BCLS certification required.
