Lead Clinical Dietitian Location:Duke Raleigh Hospital 3400 Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609 Work Schedule:Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM ***This position is eligible for a $5,000 commitment bonus and up to $8,000 in relocation assistance*** Duke University Health System seeks to hire an experienced Lead Clinical Dietitian who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together. The Duke Raleigh Hospital (DRAH) campus provides a patient-friendly setting no matter where you visit us -- in our hospital's North Pavilion, South Pavilion, or clinics. Clinical dietitians at Duke Health work across inpatient and outpatient settings, providing specialized medical nutrition therapy for oncology, diabetes, weight management, and surgical preparation. What you will do: In addition to the duties and responsibilities of a Clinical Dietitian, function in a supervisory role as a team lead. Mentor, lead, champion, and curate a culture of servant leadership guiding dietitians to employ critical thinking, problem resolution, patient advocacy, and collaboration as a critical member of the treatment team. Anticipate the needs of patients, the hospital, and the team, making it possible for clinical dietitians to provide effective and empathetic nutrition care within the acute setting.
