Physician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C. (PAGNY),has an opportunity for a Human Resource Information System Analyst (HRIS Analyst). We are a multispecialty medical practice group, staffs several municipal hospitals and clinics within New York City through an affiliation agreement withNYC Health + Hospitals. PAGNY's corporate staff provides administrative, practice management and human resources services in support of its more than 3000 clinical providers.

The HRIS Analyst manages, maintains and helps optimize the PAGNY Human Capital Management system. As part of the HRIS the role is to maintain the integrity and reliability of the organization HRIS data, and support in specialized projects.

Opportunity Details;

  • Collaborates with various teams to determine the short- and long-term system objectives, develops a plan to modify and optimize HRIS applications, modules and systems to meet those objectives.
  • Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals.
  • Recommends process/service improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes to better support our clinical and administrative staff.
  • Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing team needs.
  • Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Collaborate with the rest of HRIS team to plan, modify, and customize the HRIS system and to test new applications and features.
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Participates in user group meetings/conferences.
  • Provides site operations support as needed for Affiliate Specialists.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
  • Experience working withing a healthcare organization or physician group is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design.
  • Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required.
  • At least three years of experience with HR business systems is highly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP a plus.
