Position:ProcessEngineering Co-op Company: Encapsys, LLC Location: Appleton, WI Dates:May- December2027 Encapsys (www.encapsys.com),now a part of Milliken & Company (www.milliken.com) is looking tohire student co-ops for the 2027calendar year to joinour teamin Appleton, WI. This is a competitivelypaidco-op positionbeing offeredto students in a Chemical Engineering, Material Science/Engineering, or Chemistry program.Co-ops are also offered a special benefits package which includes a housing allowance and paidtime off. Encapsys operates in the specialty chemicals industry.Holding over 75 encapsulation patents, Encapsys is agloballeader in encapsulation technologies within twoprimary business segments - Fragrance andAgriculture.Encapsys operates highly scalable encapsulation processes that deliver superior products. Encapsys takes pride in providing co-ops with opportunities to build strong resumes through matching individual interests with available projects.Encapsys provides projects witha high levelof responsibility thathasstrong impacts on the bottom line. Co-ops will work on both collaborative and independent projects in conjunction with the engineer/scientist project leaders. Each co-op isassigneda mentor to provide guidance through the processes of training, developing, and contributing. ProcessEngineeringplays a vital role in our ability to take products and processes from lab and pilot size trials and see them through tofull-scalemanufacturing processes ina timelyandcost-effectivemanner.Theteam works closely with R&Dand Manufacturingteams from projectinceptionto commercialization.These teams work together on new product and process development, cost reduction, product line extensions, equipment design, scale up, and exploration/development of new technologies.
