Job Summary Boston Area SLP Float Needed to Spaulding8% Premium pay New Grads Welcomed Stay at each location for 3-4 months at a time Summary An advanced practice therapist who demonstrates clinical expertise in the rehab area of their discipline. Outpatient experience preferred but not required. Acts as a clinical resource with advanced level competencies. Develops and implements advanced level, rehabilitative programs. Therapy treatments in accordance with Standards of Practice, applicable state licensure regulations, and departmental and hospital policies, to a variety of adult patients. Therapist will be floating to outpatient centers in Boston area to provide clinical coverage for vacant positions, leaves of absences and clinical volume. Opportunity to work with variety of diagnosis and patient populations across MGB network. Salary Premium over standard non float salary. Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and helping prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Provide guidance and mentorship to junior speech pathologists and other healthcare professionals. -Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders in patients. -Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. -Provide therapy to patients with various communication and swallowing disorders. -Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. -Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and treatment plans. -Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
