Position Title: Harvest - 2nd Shift
Wage: $22.00/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 1:40pm - 10:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Harvest role for a company in Watertown, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity on 2nd shift. Harvest Responsibilities: - Perform a variety of tasks within the Harvest Processing Department, rotating through multiple Level I positions as assigned - Safely and efficiently remove meat from carcasses for further processing into finished sausage products - Operate motorized knives, straight-edge knives, and other processing tools in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements - Maintain required production line speeds while meeting quality and yield standards - Inspect products during processing and report any quality concerns, defects, or abnormalities to team leaders or supervisors - Promptly notify team leaders and/or maintenance personnel of equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or operational issues - Follow all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training requirements - Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and sanitation requirements at all times - Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment - Support department production goals through reliable attendance, teamwork, and flexibility in job assignments Requirements for Harvest: - Previous manufacturing, food production, meat processing, or industrial experience is preferred but not required - Ability to learn multiple job functions and rotate between workstations - Ability to safely use knives and other processing equipment - Strong attention to safety, quality, and productivity standards - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift - Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder movements - Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform continuous physical activities in a production environment - Ability to work in a refrigerated food-processing environment and around moving machinery QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
