Riverside, located in Eau Claire, WI is a precision machining company, and our company mission is to provide custom precision manufacturing and innovative services to medical, aviation, space, defense, and emerging high-tech industries.

The Quality Supervisor plays a critical role in our facility and is responsible for direct oversight of the Inspection, Calibration, and Metrology departments. This position is a highly collaborative role that oversees our quality systems, manages departmental workload to meet production schedules, coordinates and implements quality projects and processes, and works with Engineering and Production to improve efficiencies while maintaining compliance to all regulatory and customer requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities

Responsible for the supervision, training, and development of employees in the Quality department that report to this position.

Support company policies working with direct reports and collaborate with Management and / or Human Resources to resolve issues/concerns.

Monitor, prioritize, and manage work through the Inspection department and help coordinate workflow through the facility to meet customer delivery commitments.

Be a key leader in the promotion and integration of new ideas and process improvements through our continuous improvement program.

Coordinate, organize, and collaborate on disposition and processing of nonconforming products as a member of the Material Review Board.

Assist with troubleshooting issues with inspection processes and equipment.

Act as a site mentor and provide leadership and training on quality requirements for all employees.

Communicate production stoppages or constraints to all affected departments at time of observation.

Participate in internal and external audits, as required.

Any other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your team conduct themselves in a manner consistent with our company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years' experience in a quality, engineering, or manufacturing role and 2+ years in a team leader related position.

Previous work experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Exceptional leadership, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Working knowledge of Quality tools and advanced problem-solving methodologies such as 5-Why, Fishbone Diagrams, and FMEA.

Thorough understanding of Measurement Systems Analysis, Gage R&R, Repeatability testing, Correlation testing, and Control System methodologies.

Familiarity and experience with quality managements systems and various regulatory certifications, AS9100, ISO13485, FDA, ITAR.

Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and interpretation of technical drawings and specifications.

Familiar with process control methodologies, automated data collection applications, and process control techniques.

Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Familiarity with application programming, macro writing is beneficial.

Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to shifting priorities.
