Now hiring for a Class A CDL Local Driver Location: Indianapolis, IN Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour Schedule:Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Dependable Drivers: New Direction, New Possibilities. Join a growing team as a CDL A Local Driver earning $28-$32/hour! This Monday-Friday position offers steady daytime hours and a great mix of driving and warehouse responsibilities. Drivers will spend approximately 80% of their time making local deliveries of paper and packaging products and 20% assisting with warehouse operations. Candidates should be comfortable loading and unloading materials up to 50 lbs., have basic computer skills, and be willing to obtain forklift certification. This is an excellent opportunity for a driver who enjoys staying active both on the road and in the warehouse. Job Duties Make local deliveries of paper and packaging products Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer equipment Load and unload freight while performing warehouse duties Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (upon certification) Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse operations Use computer systems to complete delivery, inventory, and warehouse documentation Perform vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations Driving Requirements Valid CDL-A license DOT Medical Card FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years) No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years) No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years) Ability to obtain forklift certification Basic computer skills required Ability to load and unload materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
