Position Summary/Department Summary:
This 32-hour-per-week social work position providing a broad range of clinical social work services within the innovative STRiDE Program in the Boston Children's Hospital Type 1 Diabetes Program. The STRiDE (Support, Tools, Resources in Diabetes Empowerment) Program provides an additional layer of individualized support to youth with Type 1 Diabetes and their families, helping them identify and overcome psychosocial, socioeconomic, and healthcare-related barriers that may interfere with successful diabetes management and engagement in care. The STRiDE team is a multidisciplinary group currently consisting of two pediatric endocrinologists, two diabetes nurse educators, two diabetes resource nurses, a quality improvement/analytics expert, and an administrative assistant. We are seeking to expand the team and further strengthen our ability to support children, adolescents, and families through the addition of a dedicated clinical social worker. Key Responsibilities

Schedule is 8-4:30 Mon-Thu based in Boston/Longwood New hires are eligible for $4,000 sign on bonus The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
