The Salvation Army Jacksonville corps is looking for a full-time Ministry Discovery Intern. This is a leadership position which exists to develop individuals in preparation for full-time ministry through officership. This individual will work with the Corps Administrator to learn and experience involvement with and leadership of the daily and weekly responsibilities and programming of the corps. This individual must be of good character and maturity. Bachelor's degree in theology (or related) or four (4) years in full-time ministry. Combination of education and ministry experience will be considered. Must be willing to adhere to Salvation Army beliefs and practices. Good written and oral communications skills. Be a team player, a self-starter, able to handle several projects at the same time and perform well with minimum supervision. Demonstrate ability to think independently and exercise sound judgment. Ability to initiate, develop, and follow through with new and current programs. Computer literate and willing to learn and use new programs that would be beneficial for the ministry. Must be enthusiastic, friendly, and outgoing. | |
