The BSA/AML Investigation Specialist I is responsible for supporting the organization's compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and related regulations. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, researching, documenting, and reporting activities and transactions that may be subject to regulatory requirements. The position is critical for protecting the company's reputation by ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, identifying and escalating suspicious or unusual activity, and supporting the effectiveness of the organization's suspicious activity monitoring and reporting systems. The BSA/AML Investigation Specialist I utilizes automated systems, maintains accurate records, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. Education & Experience Requirements
An associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required, along with 1-2 years of experience in a financial institution or related field-preferably with exposure to BSA/AML, suspicious activity monitoring, or customer due diligence-and a commitment to completing at least two hours of monthly continuing education on industry-related topics or role-specific technical skills.
