POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Afognak Diversified Services, Inc a subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporation has an exciting future opportunity for a physical security Operations Manager. This position is responsible for multiple locations nationwide. The Operations Manager is responsible to the Program Manager for the scheduling, operations, staff training and quality of the service provided to the Airbus facilities located throughout the United States. The Operations Manager is responsible for the hiring and staffing at all supported facilities. The Operations Manager will coordinate with the Program Manager on all matters concerning the discipline and corrective actions of employees and has the authority to exercise these actions.



  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels at all facilities under their control, minimize overtime within reason
  • Ensure Quality of Service provided exceeds contract requirements to include KPI's matrix
  • Coordinate with the Training Manager to ensure all employees maintain all certifications, qualifications and contract required training.
  • Create a training plan for monthly and Quartly trainings in conjunction with the client requests
  • Have a working knowledge of how to use/understanding security systems to include access control and cameras
  • Update/complete Post Orders and SOP's
  • Assit with gathering information to compile monthly stats for the client
  • Complete vulnerability assessments yearly, along with updating Emergency Responses Procedures
  • Meet with client repasentives to dicuess any issues, concerns, professionalism is a must
  • Be able to mulitask and think quickly to resolve issues and situations that might come up
  • Build a strong team that is able to handle the core operations of everyday challengers
  • Analyzing and improving processes to discuess with mnagement
  • Applicant must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Applicant must have demonstrated effective leadership and team-building skills.
  • Applicant should have experience in labor relations, logistics, and communications. Applicant must have demonstrated excellent analytical, oral, verbal and writing skills.
  • The Operations Manager will be the primary responsible person for all physical security functions at the Airbus facilities under their control; these include - All processes and procedures for access control, FTZ Access & Visitor Control, Patrol & Response, Surveillance & Alarm Systems.


Payrate: $65,000 to $70,000 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the law enforcement, security management, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Law enforcement and or security support services of ten plus (10+) may be substituted for educational requirements.
  • Must have an excellent working knowledge of access control systems and of protection criteria for sensitive/classified materials and facilities. The candidate must show the ability to supervise subordinates in an effective and professional manner.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Must have demonstrated effective leadership and team-building skills.
  • Should have experience in labor relations, logistics, and communications.
  • Must have demonstrated excellent analytical, oral, verbal and writing skills.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and carry a firearm.
