Minnehaha Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community is looking for a Receptionist/Concierge to join our growing team!

Minnehaha Senior Living is located directly on a bus route off om the corner of 23rd Avenue South and East 38th Street, in Minneapolis, MN. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 77-unit, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Join our team today!

Hours: 9am-4pm | Weekends
Wage: $21.00-$23.50/hour

Position Summary- To greet visitors to the facility through all communication outlets with a focus on excellent customer
service, business relations, and administrative duties.

Position Functions and Responsibilities
* Create a welcoming environment by greeting all residents, tenants, visitors and staff.
* Guide and direct guests, tenants, and residents to appropriate rooms as needed.
* Answer multiple line telephones in a polite, professional manner.
* Assist with typing, filing, ancillary input, payroll and distribution of mail, accounts payable and
personnel files.
* Assist with the business office functions to include administrative support.
* Must be adaptable, flexible to changes, and able to prioritize and organize work efficiently to
accomplish workload within time allotted.
* Maintains positive relationships with key stakeholders such as tenants, their families, staff, and
the community.
* Maintain a positive attitude in relation to customer service program.
* Complies with established safety rules and regulations.
* Abides by the facility's policies, procedures and practices.
* Participates in and supports Quality efforts throughout the facility.
* Attends meetings and mandatory in-services.
* Knowledge and adherence to safety/disaster preparedness plan.
* All other duties as needed

Qualifications

* High school graduate or equivalent.
* Related administrative experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written direction at a level necessary to
accomplish the job.
* Basic computer knowledge with an aptitude to learn company software.
* Exceptional telephone and communication skills and the desire to work closely with senior
adults is essential.
* Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's
families and employees.
