Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking experienced professionals who can provide technical and program leadership across a global Federal enterprise network.

Candidates should bring demonstrated experience leading or supporting large scale enterprise network environments, particularly within complex government, global, or mission critical environments. Depending on the position, experience may include network engineering, network operations, infrastructure management, network monitoring and management tools, telecommunications, unified communications, wireless networking, or technical program management.

Location Requirements: Telework may be available. Must be local to the Washington D.C. or Rosslyn, VA area for occasional on-site meetings.

We are currently targeting experienced professionals for the following positions:

    Program Manager
  • Deputy Program Manager
  • Network Engineering Lead
  • Operations Lead
  • Network Monitoring Tools Lead
  • Firewall Lead
  • ISSO

Depending on the position, responsibilities may include:

  • Lead and manage enterprise network engineering and operations activities supporting a global environment.
  • Provide technical leadership for the design, implementation, operation, and modernization of network infrastructure.
  • Oversee network operations and ensure reliable, secure, and mission ready services across domestic and international locations.
  • Lead network monitoring and management activities to maintain visibility, availability, performance, and operational readiness.
  • Support network service requirements, engineering activities, infrastructure deployments, technology refreshes, and operational initiatives.
  • Support secure remote access capabilities, including VPN and modern non VPN solutions.
  • Support unified communications capabilities, including VOIP and video conferencing.
  • Provide technical leadership for secure wireless network design, engineering, deployment, and operations.
  • Support Regional Relay Facility operations and other critical communications infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders, technical teams, program leadership, and mission partners to identify requirements and deliver effective network solutions.
  • Ensure network services and operational activities align with security, performance, availability, and mission requirements.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/equivalent and 12 years of relevant experience, including experience in technical leadership, supervision, or management.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading large scale enterprise network, infrastructure, or IT operations environments.
  • Experience working in complex, mission critical, or geographically distributed environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: network engineering, network operations, infrastructure management, network monitoring, telecommunications, unified communications, wireless networking, or enterprise IT operations.
  • Experience providing technical leadership, program management, operational oversight, or team leadership within an enterprise IT environment.
  • Experience collaborating with government customers, technical teams, program leadership, and other stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Department of State, Department of Defense, DHS, or other federal government enterprise IT programs.
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: OCI, Azure, AWS, Palo Alto, or SD WAN. Technical experience will vary based on the position.

  • Experience with technologies such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, ExpressRoute, BGP peering, Palo Alto, Okta, or Entrust.
  • Relevant professional certifications in networking, cybersecurity, cloud, IT service management, or project management, such as CCNA, Security +, CCNP, ITIL, CISSP, PMP, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience managing or supporting global enterprise network environments with geographically dispersed users, facilities, and infrastructure.
  • Experience leading large scale network engineering, network operations, infrastructure modernization, or technology refresh initiatives.
  • Experience with enterprise network monitoring, management, and performance optimization tools.
  • Experience with secure remote access technologies, including VPN and modern non VPN solutions.
  • Experience with telecommunications and unified communications technologies, including VOIP and video conferencing.
  • Experience with enterprise wireless network design, engineering, deployment, and operations.
  • Experience supporting telecommunications facilities, critical communications infrastructure, or geographically distributed network environments.
  • Experience working directly with government customers and managing relationships across technical, operational, and program leadership teams.
  • Experience leading cross functional technical teams and coordinating multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network operations processes, procedures, standards, and performance metrics.
  • Experience supporting technology deployments, infrastructure refreshes, modernization efforts, and transition activities.

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
