Assistant Professor of Economics

The George Washington University's Department of Economics invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position beginning as early as Fall 2027. We seek applicants specializing in applied microeconomics who demonstrate strong potential for scholarly achievement and excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research program and contribute to the intellectual and professional life of the Department and University. Teaching responsibilities will include courses for undergraduate and graduate students in the Economics Department.

A Ph.D. in economics with a primary focus on applied microeconomics.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or complete all requirements for the Ph.D. by the date of appointment.
