| Position Description Summary: |
The George Washington University's Department of Economics invites applications for one full-time, tenure-track faculty position beginning as early as Fall 2027. We seek applicants specializing in macroeconomics who demonstrate strong potential for scholarly achievement and excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching. |
| Specific Duties and Responsibilities: |
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research program and contribute to the intellectual and professional life of the Department and University. Teaching responsibilities will include core and specialized courses for undergraduate and graduate students subject to Department needs. |
| Minimum Qualifications: |
A Ph.D. in economics, or completion of all PhD degree requirements by the time of appointment, with a primary focus on macroeconomics. |

$140,000-$155,000 |
