Community Sourcing Specialist

In-Office: Raleigh, NC

Must be Fluent in English/Spanish

This is not a traditional recruiting role.
We're looking for someone who has experience building relationships in the community, developing workforce partnerships, & creating talent pipelines through outreach & engagement efforts rather than filling jobs through conventional recruiting methods. This role is an FTE position directly with Employbridge.


Job Summary

The Community Sourcing Specialist drives proactive talent attraction and workforce development strategies within the local market. This role builds strong community partnerships, develops sustainable candidate pipelines, and leverages labor market insights to connect qualified talent with client opportunities. Working closely with operations, sales, marketing, and community organizations, the Manager strengthens Employbridge's presence in the market while supporting workforce planning, client success, and business growth. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, knowledgeable of local labor trends, and passionate about creating innovative talent solutions.

Role & Responsibilities

Market Talent Strategy & Pipeline Development



  • Develop and execute local recruiting strategies that drive candidate attraction and create a consistent talent pipeline for branches and onsite operations.
  • Build market-specific talent pipelines based on labor availability, client demand, skill needs, and workforce trends.
  • Identify and engage untapped talent pools while proactively building pipelines for high-volume, hard-to-fill, and critical roles.
  • Establish sustainable sourcing channels that reduce reliance on reactive recruiting methods.
  • Create and maintain referral networks through associates, community partners, alumni, redeployment opportunities, and grassroots recruiting.



Community Partnerships & Workforce Development



  • Build and maintain partnerships with workforce boards, educational institutions, community organizations, and economic development groups.
  • Develop relationships with diverse community networks, including immigrant, refugee, nonprofit, civic, and cultural organizations, to expand access to talent.
  • Lead community outreach initiatives, hiring events, and recruitment campaigns that connect talent to employment opportunities.
  • Maintain a visible community presence that strengthens Employbridge's reputation as a trusted workforce partner.
  • Partners with organizations experiencing workforce reductions to connect displaced workers with employment opportunities.


Labor-Market Intelligence



  • Monitor labor market conditions, including employment trends, wages, competitor activity, workforce availability, and market changes.
  • Translate market intelligence into recruiting, workforce planning, and business development strategies.
  • Identify emerging workforce trends and talent risks and share insights with operational and sales leaders to support proactive decision-making.



Recruitment Marketing & Community Engagement



  • Partner with Marketing to develop localized recruitment campaigns and employment branding initiatives.
  • Support digital, social, grassroots, and community-based recruiting efforts.
  • Evaluate recruitment channel performance and adjust strategies to improve candidate engagement and conversion.


Commercial & Operational Alignment



  • Partner with branch, onsite, and sales leaders to align talent supply with client needs and growth opportunities.
  • Provide insights into talent availability, skill concentrations, wage expectations, and workforce trends to support workforce planning and sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure talent strategies meet client requirements and service expectations.
  • Help position Employbridge as a workforce partner that delivers both talent and market intelligence.



Preferred Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree or 2-4 years related experience in a business related field
  • Previous experience in talent sourcing, sales/marketing, and/or labor market analysis is required
  • Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Must provide proof of vehicle liability insurance

  • Experience in recruiting, staffing, workforce development, talent acquisition, business development, or community engagement.
  • Knowledge of local labor markets, workforce trends, and talent attraction strategies.
  • Ability to build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, educational institutions, and business leaders.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • Ability to develop proactive talent pipeline and workforce solutions strategies.
  • Skilled in analyzing labor market data and translating insights into actionable plans.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across recruiting, operations, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in the community and representing the organization externally.
  • Results-oriented with strong business acumen, accountability, problem-solving skills, and perseverance.



Work Environment (Physical Demands)

Standard Office: Typically work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate

standard office equipment. This position requires compliance for all occupational safety and health

standards, rules, and regulations. Below are a few standards specific for this position:



  • Sit or stand for long periods of time and walk short distances
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and communicate in writing
  • Adjust to vision for both close and distance views
  • Stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds


Travel Requirements

30-50% travel time expected for the position


MVR Requirements

Must have a valid drivers' license with a driving record indicating a safe driving history acceptable to the

company and at all times remain eligible to drive a motor vehicle under applicable laws and regulations.
