JOB SUMMARY
This job works under minimal supervision to direct operation of program or project, exercising independent judgment and authority as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS FOR PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Umbrella Pipeline Program

* Assist with the support and day-to-day operations of a centralized pipeline initiative.

* Collect, maintain, and manage participant, trainee, and alumni data in an institutional databases and tracking systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

* Collaborate with program directors, faculty, staff, and institutional partners to gather, verify, and update trainee and alumni information across multiple programs.

* Maintain standardized processes, documentation, and reporting procedures to support data collection, outcome tracking, and program evaluation efforts.

* Generate routine and ad hoc reports on participant demographics, academic progression, research engagement, degree completion, career outcomes, and other program metrics.

* Monitor program expenditures and administrative activities assigned and provide support for budget tracking and resource management.

* Coordinate meetings, communications, and collaborative activities among participating programs and stakeholders.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Healthcare Summer Internship Program

* Assist the Director in the coordination efforts of the Healthcare Summer Internship Program.

* Support recruitment efforts, onboarding, and engagement activities.

* Support review, verification, and communication of applicants.

* Develop communications on the internship to departments, applicants, and participants.

* Maintain alumni database, communication with alumni, and tracking their progress.

Pathway to Science: UTSW and UNT Dallas Collaboration

* Assist with coordinating program needs, including program supplies, schedules, and communication.

* Maintain alumni database, communication with alumni, tracking their progress.

* Assist with the coordination of onboarding of UNT Dallas students.

* Maintain evaluation system, tracking, and reporting.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required

  • Education
    Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education/Social Science, or related field
  • Experience
    5 years Experience in appropriate field or
    May consider additional years of experience in lieu of education.

JOB DUTIES

  • Analyzes, coordinates, and evaluates program operation and procedures.
  • Develops or oversees development of budget for program.
  • Develops, cultivates, and maintains working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefit from program.
  • Establishes program goals and objectives and directs program evaluation and quality control activities; develops and/or approves schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals.
  • Plans and coordinates special events. Participates in conferences. Presents data and program information.
  • Responsible for design, execution, and effectiveness of system of internal controls, which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, and financial information is reliable.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Reads literature and attends functions to keep abreast of relevant scientific and technical developments related to program.
  • May provide supervision to staff members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
