Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $21.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator position at a company in Bridgeton, MO. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate, and monitor corrugated converting equipment, including flexo folder gluers, die cutters, box makers, and related machinery. - Review work orders, job tickets, specifications, and quality requirements before production runs. - Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards. - Monitor production efficiency and maximize machine uptime and productivity. - Record production, quality, safety, and waste data accurately and timely. - Communicate equipment issues and maintenance needs to supervisors and maintenance personnel. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and OSHA standards. - Assist with training and supporting machine helpers, stackers, and other production team members as needed. Machine Operator Requirements: - High school diploma or GED preferred. - Previous manufacturing, packaging, printing, or machine operation experience preferred. - Ability to read and interpret production documents and specifications. - Ability to perform basic math calculations and accurately read measuring devices. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality - Basic computer skills and ability to complete production reporting. - Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the work shift. - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, noise, and production materials. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely while using required PPE.
