Position Title: Receiving Associate
Wage: $16.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Machine Operator at a company in Euless, TX. This is a potential to hire position. Work 36 hours, while getting paid for 40 hours! Receiving Associate Responsibilities: - Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents - Unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment - Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies - Accurately enter received inventory into the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP system - Label and organize materials for storage or distribution - Move materials to designated warehouse locations - Maintain accurate inventory records and report shortages or overages - Coordinate with purchasing, inventory control, and warehouse teams to resolve receiving issues - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - Follow company safety procedures and OSHA regulations - Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories as needed - Support shipping and warehouse operations during peak periods Requirements for Receiving Associate: - High School Diploma or GED - Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory, or logistics experience preferred - Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to read shipping documents and inventory reports - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Forklift certification or previous forklift experience preferred - Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory systems is a plus - Knowledge of inventory control practices is a plus - Able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds - Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift - Able to work in warehouse and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
