The Sr. RF Engineer will act as the on-site coordinator ensuring job completion according to company and customer quality and safety requirements. General

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Working with a range of RF tools including cell phones, amplifiers, two-way radios, spectrum analyzers and signal generators. Troubleshooting RF systems independently and with site engineers. Identifying and repairing faults in systems and making adjustments as required. Collect pre and post data for cellular DAS deployment. Use the PCTEL scanner to collect ERRCES data and deliver reports. Perform annual and 5-year system testing with reports delivery. Completes other responsibilities as assigned.

Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and lead others to create, develop and implement project process improvement(s). Must have proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s). Must be able to work at heights, off a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk large job sites regularly. Must be able to see and distinguish different colors, read small print and hear and recognize audible signals such as dial tones Must be enthusiastic, passionate, patient and a critical thinker. Must be able to communicate with the customer and have excellent customer service skills. Must be able to travel within branch territory and/or regional territory as needed. Regular Attendance is mandatory. Tools: Screwdriver set or multibit, drywall saw, torpedo level, tape measure, snips (with belt sheath), pliers (needle nose and channel locks), hammer, wrench set, cable stripper, flashlight and gloves. 110 punch tool, RJ45 Crimp tool, small screw driver set (aka tweaker), Diagonal side cutters, lineman's pliers, Security bit set, 18V cordless drill, 6 inch adjustable wrench, cable fishing sticks, paddle bit set, socket set (metric and SAE), digital multimeter, wire map tester, twist drill index, drill tap kit, tone generator and probe, cable loppers, and metal file set.
