Main Duties & Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Floor Inspector works under the direction of the Quality and provides technical support to the operation through evaluation and analysis of product and process related quality issues. The Quality Technician also provides support through assisting with the training and development of auditors and manufacturing associates as it relates to quality
MAIN DUTIES:

Perform incoming receiving inspection
Calibrate equipment and gages
Perform specific inspection activities as needed
Perform production audits
Perform internal audits
Lead root cause and corrective action activities
Provide support for other various activities supporting quality and production

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years in production environment
1+ years performing quality-related activity
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Experience using handheld measurement devices (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Mechanical Aptitude - able to troubleshoot equipment/processes for root cause analysis
Good verbal and written communication skills

Exhibits a Positive Attitude and Professionalism

Works well under pressure and tight deadlines
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
