Schedule: Monday to Friday 3:00 am - 3:30pm

• Produce sand molds according to specifications using semi-automated machinery and tooling.
• Maintain molding equipment, patterns, hand tools, and related machinery.
• Keep the Air-Set mold line and surrounding work area clean and safe.
• Learn and apply basic technical and chemical principles of the Air-Set molding process.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, material handling equipment, and overhead cranes safely.
• Participate in training and ongoing education programs.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
• Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
• Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Grinder Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
