Process Operator - 1st Shift

Are you an experienced manufacturing or production professional looking for a hands-on opportunity with a stable Monday-Friday schedule? We are seeking a Process Operator to join our team in Westbury, NY. In this role, you'll operate production equipment, monitor product quality, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Inspect materials and products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Record production data and maintain accurate batch records and reporting documentation.
• Verify materials are being used correctly based on production schedules and work orders.
• Label and track products throughout the manufacturing process.
• Communicate production status, issues, and process deviations to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to quality, safety, and productivity.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, production, machine operation, or process operator experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic math skills, including calculations involving weights and volumes.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to assist in equipment setup, maintenance, and assembly.
• Forklift experience required; experience with electric hoists or cranes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Technical trade school training or an Associate degree is preferred.
