Babel Street's revenue team is seeking a Mission Director for the Intelligence Community (IC). This is a field-based, direct sales role responsible for both client retention and growth through contract expansion and the introduction of new products and services. You will consult with C-level executives to develop and implement an effective, enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by Babel Street's products and services. The right candidate for this role will be an expert at realizing how Babel Street software can support the customers' mission set. Professionalism, strong work ethic, adaptability and expertise selling SaaS solutions to U.S. government customers are key to quota achievement and ultimate sales success.

Howyou'llbe successful:

• Having the ability to navigate a complex sales cycle from start to finish,leveraginginternal resources within the larger sales organization, cross functionally with the customer success team and externally across customers
• Strong presentation skills for delivering in-person and virtual presentations to audiences, highlighting your ability to perform client discovery, communicateROIand build business value
• Activelyseekto understand industry trends to help position against competitors
• Craft targeted strategies designed to meet specific client needs and make recommendations based on internal and external factors.
• By becoming a trusted advisor to both customers and colleagues toleveragemultiple stakeholders throughout complex deals
• Understanding the client's perspective through research and questioning.
• Presenting solutions based on client input and your proactive research are essential
• Although not mandatory candidates located in VA or DC area preferred.

Education & Experience:

• 5+ years of direct sales experience, including experience selling technology solutions to U.S. Intelligence Community customers
• Experience selling SaaS solutions within the U.S. Intelligence Community and broader Federal market.
• History of consistent quota achievement
• Examples of landing new customer logos
• Strong job tenure: history of displaying loyalty and perseverance through long, stable job tenure and positive career trajectory

Job Essentials:

• Ability to travel domestically up to 5 days per month, ifrequired
• Understanding of MS Office and tools like SFDC or equivalents is important
• Excellent listening and communication skills are required
• TS/SCI with Polygraph required
