The Prenatal Instructor provides engaging, evidence-based education to expectant parents on pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, newborn care, and early parenting. This position helps families build confidence and make informed decisions throughout their pregnancy journey. Type of Opportunity: PRN Job Exempt: No Job is based: Presbyterian Hospital Work Shift: Varied Days and Hours (United States of America) Responsibilities: Maintains established department polices and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control policies Provide individual and group instruction in health related areas. Interacts with other members of the childbirth team Maintains professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, inservice meetings, and workshops. Qualifications: High school degree with advanced trade/vocational school training. Bachelors Degree in a health related field preferred. 1 to 3 years experience in educating and advising patients on self directed behavior change strategies preferred.
