| Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit |
University Development's purpose is to support the mission of the university by raising private resources to enhance financial support for students, faculty, programs, and facilities. University Development provides leadership and centralized services to all development offices throughout the University, serving as a focal point for annual giving, application development and IT support; campaign management; constituent programs; corporate and foundation relations; donor relations; gift planning; gift services; industry relations; marketing/communications; parents giving; principal gifts; prospect management, research and analytics; regional programs; scholarships and student aid; talent management; university events; and volunteer engagement.

| Position Summary |
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy.
UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
Administrative and relationship-focused role supporting
UNC Chapel Hill's Regional Development team. A combination of administrative coordination, project management, event support, communications, budgeting, and donor relations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating day-to-day operations, projects, meetings, and events.
* Supporting donor cultivation, stewardship, and prospect activities.
* Assisting with accounts receivable and expense tracking.
* Serving as a key point of contact and liaison between donors, university leaders, staff, and the Regional Development team.
* Helping maintain and strengthen relationships with donors and campus constituents.
* Working closely with the Regional Programs Associate, Executive Director, and team members. |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. |

- Ability to adapt to different situations with flexibility
- Ability to communicate professionally
- Project/event coordination experience
- Advanced office technology skills
