Associate Finance Manager

Your main responsibilities

PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION OVERVIEW:


The Associate Finance Manager is responsible for creating, maintaining and running SAP closing cycles, coordinating the monthly closing schedule, maintaining SAP structure including cost center and cost element maintenance, booking monthly journal entries, and performing monthly and ad-hoc analysis.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


* Run the Cost centers to COPA assessments cycles in SAP systems to provide the monthly financial results at Product, District, Territory, Area, HQ and SEC level for accurate financial reporting
* Run the Taxes and Benefits distribution cycles in SAP for Cost centers in both systems to receive accruals for taxes and benefits on a monthly basis
* Run the Cost centers to Cost center allocation cycles in SAP systems to distribute Intercompany and HQ costs to all other cost centers in SEC on a monthly basis
* Schedule, coordinate and communicate the monthly Financial Closing schedule to ensure timely financial results and reporting
* Run the EI Deferred revenue recognition program to recognize only the correct monthly revenue for Service Business and reconcile the Balance sheet Account on a monthly basis
* Reconcile COPA & General Ledger to ensure the Group Management Results (GMR) is accurate and can be submitted to the Group DataSOURCE at the end of the monthly financial closing
* Assist in annual Budgeting and Forecasting. Create the Budget shell, develop planning support files and create Budget cycles for Taxes & Benefits distribution and Cost center allocations
* Assist the Accounting and Reporting Controller to prepare the 5th Workday Dashboard to present to SEC CEO, CFO and rest of the finance team
* Post financial closing entries as required, including adjusting accruals, STRUCO and PROCO costs reclasses
* Monthly Ad-hoc analysis
* Clear unpaid Product warranties, Expat salary and Relocation costs against respective Balance Sheet Accrual accounts
* Prepare the monthly Headcount analysis and Quarterly ICC/ WIP report for DataSOURCE submission
* Create, update and maintain accurate Taxes and Benefits distribution cycles, Cost center to Cost center allocation cycles and Cost center to COPA (Profit Segment) cycles in SAP systems
* Create, close and maintain Cost Centers, G/L Accounts, CC & CE groups, Internal/Statistical Orders in SAP systems
* Maintain the SEC Standard Hierarchy and SEC Chart of Accounts in SAP critical for maintaining accurate Balance Sheet and P&L
* Create and maintain Cost center report painters for accurately tracking charges to cost centers
* Prepare and submit US Government Census forms
* Maintain the KG/KW Inter-company Balance Sheet Accounts and SAP table to ensure activities including billing, posting costs and operational activities remain on the correct SAP system
* Prepare and post accurate accruals for HQ standard budgeted expenses and other yearly recurring Journal entries
* Post the year end adjusting entries for Pension, Short-term/Long-term Product Liability, HQ Accruals including Expat and Relocation Tax


* Annual Account Balance Roll-forward including specific A/P and A/R accounts

What you bring

EDUCATION


Bachelor's Degree ; Major: Business, Finance, or Accounting


OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS


SAP FI/CO Experience - Proficient


FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
1. 3+ years of Industry experience with string accounting knowledge
2. Project Management, strategy development and cost savings experience
3. Field Operations collaboration experience along with a problem solving mindset

Base Salary $113,400 - $140,700


The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include variable incentives or benefits. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on performance.
