Position Summary
As a Pricing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the Pricing team. This internship provides exposure to pricing analysis, market research, data management, and cross-functional business operations. You will work closely with Pricing Managers, Sales, Finance, Product Management, and Operations teams to analyze pricing data, identify trends, and help drive pricing optimization initiatives that support profitable growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with gathering, organizing, and maintaining pricing data and reports
- Support quote preparation and pricing analysis under the guidance of the Pricing team
- Help monitor pricing trends, customer requests, and market activity
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and presentations for pricing projects
- Assist with data validation and maintenance within pricing and ERP systems
- Support the evaluation of pricing opportunities and profitability metrics
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, and other teams to collect information for pricing initiatives
- Participate in process improvement projects and assist with documentation updates
- Conduct basic research and analysis to support business decisions
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Requires knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular area of expertise
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Data Analytics
Basic knowledge of pricing concepts, financial analysis, or market research
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and basic data analysis
Experience with Power BI, SAP, Oracle, or other business systems is a plus
Interest in pricing strategy, business analytics, or commercial operations
